I had a great evening here the other night before heading out with some friends. For a Thursday at 6pm, the place was not very busy so we were seated immediately. Someone promptly brought out chips and salsa for our table and took out drink orders. The chips were warm and fresh and the salsa was very tasty (as long as you like cilantro). The drinks came out quickly after ordering, and tasted very good! I got a strawberry margarita and it was the correct balance between fruity and tequila. We will definitely be making this place our go-to for getting some drinks. They have happy hour from 2-9pm on the weekdays and 2-8pm on Fridays, making it a great place for us college kids. If you haven't been here yet, I would recommend giving it a try.
Place looked pretty sketchy from the outside, but I'm brave so I came in anyway! Wasn't greeted at the door and had to seat myself?? Anyways, besides the old smell ( like an old gym or a building that's a bit outdated), the customer service and food were pretty good!! Menu is a little difficult to read, but I stopped by for happy hour and that menu was clear as day to read so! Clean utensils (it's such a shame I even have to say that), festive decorations, and pretty big portions, so I'd say I'll be back! Really good margs also!
I really love la hacienda! They have such an amazing environment in Tuscaloosa! During Alabama games they'll play the game so everyone eating or drinking there can listen, they also play great music to create a great environment for everyone eating to have a great time! Every time I've eaten there, the waiters have been nothing but nice and understanding! They have great service and food, along with an amazing atmosphere. I'm so glad I'm able to experience their amazing environment when I'm craving Mexican food, which is so good btw. I feel like an atmosphere of a restaurant is so important and la hacienda has those amazing vibes that Ik I'm always looking for! I would definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a fun place to eat at and if you're craving Mexican!
This is an awesome Mexican restaurant! Have eaten here several times and have never been disappointed. Huge servings and cheap prices!! Their salsa is spot on! And the chips are always fresh! Wait staff is excellent as well!! You can almost be in and out in under 30 minutes.
